Establishment of the Land Claim of the Principality of Gabon

GetSkinny, by the Grace of God, of the Principality of Gabon, Queen, Defender of the Realm, to Our trusty and well-beloved Our BritishWanderer, Lord Chancellor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Our Admiralty, and all other of Our Subjects whatsoever to whom these Presents shall come, GREETING!

Whereas We have taken into Our Royal Consideration the extensive and valuable Acquisitions in Gabon, secured to our Crown by the Settlement of Our loving Subjects;

And being desirous that all Our loving Subjects, as well as our Principality of Gabon, may avail themselves with all convenient Speed, of the great Benefits and Advantages which must accrue therefrom to their Commerce, Manufactures, and Navigation;

And whereas it is expedient to make provision for the disposal and use of such lands;

NOW KNOW YOU that We have thought fit, with the Advice of Our Privy Council to issue this Our Royal Proclamation, hereby to publish and declare to all Our loving Subjects, that we have, with the Advice of Our said Privy Council, granted our Letters Patent, under Our Great Seal of the Principality of Gabon, to erect, within Our lands, a Government, styled and called by the name of the City of Salisbury, limited and bounded as follows by Our Map of the Principality of Gabon;

And We do further declare that all the powers vested in Our Crown shall be exercisable by Our said Privy Council with respect to all such islands as aforesaid situate in that part of the Principality of Gabon where We grant and authorise their use.

In witness whereof We have caused these Our letters to be made Patent.

WITNESS Ourself at Balmoral, the 10th day of June, in the 1st year of Our reign.
